1 Dress, 1 Cause, 180 Days

The original Uniform Project began with one woman in New York in 2009 as a fundraiser for children in India. Her creative endeavor inspired similar uniform projects around the world. In 2011, Alice Cannon created The Uniform Project Ocala and raised over $5,000 and awareness for PACE Center for Girls of Marion County. Now in 2017, Mary Katherine Cusack is creating The Uniform Project Ocala 2. Mary commits to wearing the same dress, her “uniform,” every school day during the 2017-2018 school year.
